the gardens were a plus. i could sit and watch peacocks.
the room was cold. the radiator didn't work, so i used a small electric heater. the plug and cable were really hot, so i didn't use it the next day.

impersonal serviceoutdated electrical setup
The service felt somewhat impersonal, ESPECIALLY during check-in. I found the lack of acknowledgment regarding my requests a bit disheartening. the room's electrical setup seemed a little outdated. I spotted a loose extension socket.

The staff were cute. The building has considerable charm. It reminded me of houses in my favourite books. The gardens were fabulous, I found them beautiful and restful. I spent some time there.
The room lacked clear instructions for WiFi or TV. I found this frustrating. the tea and coffee options in the room were quite basic. I expected more.

The food at the restaurant was really good. I would highly recommend eating there. Breakfast was lovely, and Matt looked after everyone well. I thought the breakfast was good value for money.
we came for a quick stopover to cut the drive. the building grounds appear quite striking. it features wonderful gardens around the area. staff present a friendly attitude, and you notice a positive environment among them.
the absence of conditioner or shampoo products did present a very small downside.

The room had a lovely shower. Toiletries were available too! I enjoyed the gardens. They are great. There are resident peacocks and ducks!!
